[NEW] Operative Microscope in Ng Dental Surgery Klang (Eng Ann)

We recently acquired a new operating microscope for our clinic.  Microscope is essential in advance endodontic treatment (Root Canal Treatment).  According to American Association of Endodontists:

"The operating microscope greatly enhances a clinician's ability to view the tiniest details inside a patient's tooth". By magnifying vision up to 25 times that of the naked eye, the dental microscope is useful in both diagnosis and treatment. Research demonstrates better outcomes compared to treatment without vision enhancement or magnification."

The benefits of root canal procedures completed with a microscope include: • Magnified Image • Increased Precision • Improved Illumination • Improved Visualization

Magnified Image

Microscopes provide 3x to 30x magnification with the ability to change views with   a simple turn of a dial. Microscopes offer a deeper depth of field view and a wider field of view than traditional dental loupes.

Increased Precision

The increased magnification allows the endodontist to access small, narrow canal opening without unnecessarily removing tooth structure. Debris that must be removed from the root canal before filling the root canal space is also more easily identified.

Improved Illumination

When magnification is used, the available light is spread out and the image appears darker. To compensate for this, an LED light is mounted directly on the microscope head and provides a bright, white light.

Improved Visualization Endodontists can only treat what they can see. The microscope lens can be placed directly over the patient’s mouth without any additional discomfort.

Magnification and better illumination enable the clinician to see better the tooth we are working on.  Especially the root canal system.

How Much Extra Does it Cost?

Our microscope is from CJ Optiks, a fully Made in Germany microscope.  Yes, it does cost a lot for our clinic to invest in a microscope.  This is mainly to fullfil our commitment to provide the best for our patient.  However, there is no additional cost to receive treatment using a dental operating microscope.

Why accept treatment any other way?
