Our new digital Panaromic Xray Machine

In line with our clinic policy to provide the best for our patients, our clinic recently acquire a new digital panaromic Xray from Vatech, Korea. Vatech is a leading manufacturer of radiographic imaging solutions for the medical, dental and veterinary fields with offices in over 70 countries worldwide.

Our new machines specialised in taking panoramic radiograph of the jaw. Panoramic radiography, also called panoramic x-ray, is a two-dimensional (2-D) dental x-ray examination that captures the entire mouth in a single image, including the teeth, upper and lower jaws, surrounding structures and tissues.

The jaw is a curved structure similar to that of a horseshoe. However, the panoramic x-ray produces a flat image of the curved structure. It is typically set to provide details of the bones and teeth that are hidden from naked eye. These information are important in aiding our doctors in treatment planning and diagnosis.
